After sooo long I finally saw my best gay friend again. His name is Josser (even the name is gay. haha!). My gawd! It’s only now that I realized how much I missed him.

He’s still the same as the last time I saw him. Funny, cute and very hyper. As in!!!

Hmm… backgrounder. I knew him since high school and we’ve been friends since then. We fought a lot when we were younger but now I can’t remember the last time we did fight. I really love him.

Of course everything was about updating each other about what happened with our lives the whole time we didn’t see each other. We rarely communicate. I guess we’re like that. We don’t have to write each other or talk to each other every time just to be able to know that we care for each other.

Too bad we don’t have photos though. Eventually I will have.

Anyway, I had a hard time explaining to him about blogging. He just can’t grasp the concept. Ugh! I’m not in a hurry though. I know in time he will, and he’ll be immersed in this blogging craze as well. The same as me.

So I just had coffee with him, with my friend Cathy, her best gay friend Rhaus, and also Myla. It’s so good to have them around. Everybody was so loud (as expected) and being funny. Every body was competing with each other for the attention and the air time to talk. God, we really love to talk. haha!

I wish I could video everything to show how much fun hanging out with friends in a coffee shop can be. It’s not really what you’re doing, but who you’re doing it with that matters.

I’m so blessed to have such wonderful (fine gorgeous also) friends!!!

After so long (I noticed I’ve been using these three words a lot lately. Weird. Haha!) I was finally able to talk to Tish - Tony Rose (Tisha) Veloso; again. Actually, I sent her a message last weekend and it’s only last night was she able to read it.

She called the moment she read it. It’s as if nothing has changed. She’s still the same. Still sounds like a brat, pampered beautiful-girl-and-she-knows-it kind of tone. It’s still the same Tish I know since University days.

We immediately went to gossiping, touched everything a little every here and there so that we would still have things to talk about when we meet. I can sense the same excitement in all of us. While talking to Tish over the phone, I was with Cathy and of course the excitement is transferred to her as well.

We’re like young girls, giggling about the stupid and crazy things that we normally do. Yeah, we have a knack of doing that. We’re so used to them we think it’s normal, and we also find it fun. Even the problems we have, we also laugh about them.

Normally the case, one would present a problem. Not so the group would find a solution, because we don’t expect other people to solve our problems for us. What we expect NOT though is pity.

So, more or less, if someone comes in with a problem (unless of course the person is in the verge of crying already.- with the exception on Jen because when she cries, it’s hilarious!) we would expect the others to just laugh and shrug it off as something that can be solved. And there’s no need to fret.

I’m so blessed with odd, borderline crazy best friends. Haha!

I was watching ‘Sex and the City’ yesterday, and it made me think of New York yet again. I know this sounds very superficial, but all those beautiful clothes and shoes… Who wouldn’t want them?

Of course I know that the rest of the Big Apple is not as fashionable as them, but who knows?

Maybe when the Sterten Girls are there already, maybe we’ll be like them (except the lewdness part of course).

We already have a writers (Carrie Bradshaw), which is me and Princessa (the honorary Sterten Girl).

Then the lawyer (Miranda), which is Cathy.

The tai-tai (Charlotte York) which is Tish and of course…

the power girl (Samantha Jones), Jen!

Aaah! I can just imagine us walking down Fairfax Avenue. Hmm… It’s so nice to dream. Haha!

But… I don’t know why, I have this weird feeling that somehow, I believe this will come true. And we will be just about their age when we invade New York!

She has been one of my best friends for 10 years now. She’s also the ‘ungrateful‘ I was talking about.

Four of my other best friends also consider her as their best friend. But since last night, there’s only one left who considers her as a best friend. And that one is not me.

I’m writing this entry not to defame her.

I won’t even mention her name. I’m just hoping that somewhere in the internet, someone will be able to read this post, and will be kind enough to give me an advice. Someone who doesn’t know her, so there won’t be bias.

Okay, here’s my story. For years now, she has been borrowing money from me. Among all my friends, she’s the only one who’s not rich or well off at least. A lot of times, when I need the money back, she would ignore me and make it very difficult for me.

She wouldn’t be answering my calls, or sms. It’s as if I’m the one who owes her a favor. This has happened a lot of times in the past already. I don’t know why, I always end up forgiving her.

(Maybe because we’ve been friends for so long. Been through a lot together. We have a history of friendship. Both laughter and tears. And I always felt responsible for her, because I’m the stronger one. Maybe that’s why.)

I would like to introduce you guys to Mr. Right…Now!

The day before New year, I met with the best guy friend I have right now. He doesn’t know it, but I consider him one of my best friends already.

His name is Ronald Ian del Mundo. I just felt like I have to clear that there are two Ian’s in my life. One is a thing of the past the jerk ex boyfriend and the other is a good friend of mine.

So Ian (the good friend) and I both went to the University of the Philippines. After graduation, we didn’t really see each other that much. Actually, we didn’t see each other at all! So that was like four years ago.

Recently I have been talking to him a lot in msn. Since both of us are taking the CFA exam we’re like comparing notes. And we also talk about our lives and of course business.

For the past months, he has helped me a lot in more reasons than one. I don’t think he knows about it but… yeah. He helped me a lot.

He thinks that I lift his spirit but really, just talking to an old friend from the Philippines is enough to lift my spirit.

I can’t believe it! Princessa got a new Eee PC and that’s on top of all her other laptops. Waah! The Eee PC is so cute I want one for myself too.

See how she taunts me with it? She’s so evil. Waah! Since that is the case, I’ll device ways to steal the Eee PC from her. Bwahaha! Anybody who wants to support me on this, just send me a holler. haha!

Don’t kill me cat!!! I’ve got the first night’s photos right here!

More than a month ago, Cathy (one of my best friends) came to visit me here. It was such a blast fun time being with her after a long time of not seeing each other. Now she wants to kill me. haha!

Mainly because she went back to the Philippines without any photo or even souvenir whatsoever. It’s as if she has never been here.

Now I’m giving her the photos of her first night here in Singapore. It was quite an experience actually. Oh, and this happened after my free make over.

We spent most of the afternoon in Orchard, drinking coffee and catching up. And of course, I was able to have her meet Princessa.

They really clicked! I’m happy having two of my bestest friends together. Unfortunately we don’t have a photo of that part. Moving forward…

Later that night we went to MOS with my ex-colleague and his friend. (Don’t ask me why I decided to bring her there. She’s a party girl. A real live one. hehe)

Yup. Even before the Powerpuff…something is even made known to the public, it’s sad to say that it is now officially disbanded.

This has taken me ages to post!!! Haiz… Well, this happens some time ago, but… I like the photos.

And I am also amazed on the process. Capturing that in a photograph… I find it cute. Especially because there’s a certain antagonist who’s with me throughout the whole process.

Princessa’s sister is a budding hair stylist. And her classmate needed a ‘model’ to practice her their skills. haha!

The whole time Princessa was antagonizing me. Making me sweat of the possibility that it wouldn’t turn out good.

I am still not feeling very well.. But the mixed feelings and emotions that my friends and I experienced these past few days are already starting to fade away.

I never thought it would be so fleeting. And to think that I have never done most of these things for a very long time now.

Fine! I better start telling my story now, otherwise even if I don’t forget about it the tone would be different. And I might not be able to let you know exactly what happened and how all of us felt.

Let’s start with the first day…

WEDNESDAY.

This day is when one of my best friends in the Philippines came to visit. Her name is Cathy.

Cathy is one of the infamous Sterten Girls. If you want to know more about her, you can check Sterten website.

Anyway, back to my story. Princessa and I was about to go to work morning of November 7, 2007. We were rushing because we’re running late again. Both of us weren’t feeling well.

On the way to the office, we figured what the heck. Both of us feels sick so we could both take MC’s. And since Cathy would be here late in the afternoon, then might as well meet her so she and Princessa could start getting to know each other.

I’m telling you, it’s like butter and toast… coffee and cigarette…olive in my dry martini.

And then there’s the rehearsing of Cathy’s famous line:

“Oooh my God. I can not breath!”

That’s how they were! They immediately hit it off as if they have always been friends. We stayed for awhile in Coffee Bean at Orchard Road to chat more and eat mud pies.

During our conversations, Princessa already noticed that Cathy and I have a weird way of communicating with each other. We just talk of what we want to talk about, even without acknowledging what the other said. Princessa I believed got so confused at first. haha!

It was a nice afternoon though. Just chilling, chatting with two of my best friends in the whole world. And of course they didn’t waste time to form their alliance and shoot at me (it’s not that I mind).

After which, we went home to change to prepare for the coming night. Sounds boring? Nah… wait till I get to the juicy part. I am only just beginning my story.
