When I first came here in Singapore, I wasn’t able to get most of the jokes that people are saying. The humor just isn’t the same.
Especially those with underlying meaning to it, which should be able to make it funny. Want to know what I’m talking about?
Try these comic strips out…
Get it? Well, because most common perception is that our country is so low tech. It’s normal for people in my country to make pass it off as a joke. Normal. You will rarely see a Filipino who doesn’t like to smile and laugh a lot.
Okay, this is supposed to be a serious topic… yet they managed to make a joke out of it still. haha! Sometimes even I’m amazed on how my people can find humor in even the direst of situations. Works both ways I guess. Bad in a way that it will look as if we’re not able to take anything seriously… good because whatever happens, there will always be a reason for us to smile. And look at life in a good light.
I wasn’t expecting to see this I suppose. Because there’s this common misconception in the Philippines that bloggers are usually ugly and has no life. But when I came here in Singapore and I am actually able to interact to a lot of different bloggers, I found out that it’s not really the case.
I’ve met a lot of fun and interesting personalities who calls themselves bloggers. They look pretty cool to me!
I know there’s a lot of you out there who still likes Michael Jackson. Well… enjoy this little humor from way back home. hehe! I don’t really have a thesis for this entry.
Just want to showcase something from home. Feeling homesick I guess…
So I’ll leave you with one of my favorites… Here it is.

It’s nice to see that all my hard work is being appreciated. ^_^ ACtually, I never thought that the last strip would be funny enough. It just came to me.
Happy blogging!
